Engage Attendees and Generate Revenue with Convention Television News Programs

Our talented team of scriptwriters, producers, directors and editors has many years of experience producing convention television programs that successfully connect associations, exhibitors and meeting attendees.

We work in partnership with association meeting planners and communications professionals to customize programs that highlight events and information most relevant to the association and meeting attendees.

Daily convention television programs are typically 15-20 minutes long, and are aired repeatedly on buses that transfer attendees between hotels & meeting venues; in hotel rooms; and in meeting venues providing maximum exposure for advertisers.

Advertisers can choose from a variety of ad types at prices that are designed for all budget sizes.  Newsday provides production services at very affordable prices for advertisers who do not have the time to produce their own ads.

The playlist above provides some examples of recent convention programs produced for different organizations.

5 great reasons for producing a convention television program at your next meeting

  1. There's typically no or little cost for program production, and associations can expect to generate incremental revenue by selecting one of two funding options
    • Option 1: We fund the program and sell advertising spots to multiple exhibitors/sponsors. We share revenue with the association based on a sliding scale.
    • Option 2: Association secures one or more sponsors for the program, and funds cost of production.
  2. We provide turnkey production services
    • From script to screen, we handle all the details to minimize association staff time required to produce and execute programs
  3. Programs provide affordable sponsorship opportunities for exhibitors/sponsors
    • Programs provide unparalleled reach and frequency for advertisers/sponsors
    • Advertising/sponsor messaging drives booth traffic via “call-to-action” formatted ads
    • Numerous formats and pricing fit within every advertiser’s budget
  4. New channels are optimized to reach meeting attendees with key messaging
    • Programs repeat continuously on shuttle buses, in hotel rooms, and in meeting venues
    • Program messaging is guaranteed to reach a “captive audience” riding shuttle buses between hotels and meeting venues
  5. Content can be repurposed to extend its reach
    • Content can be repurposed for online communications channels and for future use, extending the reach of messaging

As the association professional in charge of the program, how much time can I expect to spend managing a daily television production?

We do everything we can to minimize the time commitment by association staff to produce and execute programs. Our production team handles all program production details including developing a script, securing talent, sourcing music, getting approvals, managing any interview shoots with association leadership, prepping and coaching on camera talent, securing b-roll from the convention city cvb, replicating dvds for distribution, and more. Our sales team handles the entire sales effort, including selling, invoicing, and ensuring that ads are delivered and integrated into the program. Our operations team executes all program execution details in advance including making arrangements with hotels to play the program on dark channels, and handles all onsite details related to ensuring programs play on all buses, in hotel rooms, in convention centers; tipping bus drivers; delivering daily reports to advertisers; troubleshooting; handling last minute program change requests, and more.

What types of content can be included in a daily television production?

We will work with you to create content that supports your communication strategy and messaging for your meeting. Types of content may include: interviews with key association leadership that focus on communicating information that is important for your attendees to know about; special event announcements and reminders; promotion of association products and services; city points-of-interest highlights; dining recommendations; and more.

How else can we take advantage of the content captured during interviews and onsite at a meeting?

We are skilled at capturing short snippets of video content and delivering them to clients with association branding, or sponsor branding for use in online communication and social media channels.  Snippets are ideal for promoting key association messaging before, during and after a meeting or convention, and is a great way to generate revenue from sponsors looking for this type of exposure.
